I thought I seen a post on here with someone inquiring about a type of canopy for a JD 4700,if so I bought a nice canopy through my John Deere dealer by an outfit called"Firebird Fiberglass" located in Arizona,it is a nice canopy and they custom make them for John Deere to fit the new 4000 series tractors roll bars.I have not seen too much literature about these out in the JD dealerships,but if you go to that page you can get the info there,they also make them for other brands of tractors as well.

I hope it works out for you,I ordered mine last fall,and I went to the dealership and picked it up,I took it home(about 45 miles one way) I took it out of the box and dicovered it was busted I had to take it clear back to the dealer and have another ordered.It was worth the wait though.
I found a place another place on the web called Wilderness roof rack in California and they custom made a roof rack for the canopy,it looks real good,it has brackets on it to carry shovels,axes etc. and the roof rack is great to haul things on top etc.It really looks stylish,with the lights, canopy ,roof rack and wince on the front it looks like a cross between a John Deere and a Landrover.I am please with the way it turned out.

Thanks Hillbilly. I checked out the website for Firebird Fiberglass. The factory is about 200 miles from me, close enough to take a Friday drive and go look at them. ....
